Stitch Steps – Quarter-, three-quarter cross stitch and backstitch

QUARTER- AND THREE-QUARTER CROSS STITCH + BACKSTITCH

Following on from last month’s stitches (cross and half-cross stitch), these partial cross stitches are used for creating smooth curved edges on the design areas instead of stepped angles as with full stitches. Backstitch is used to outline the shapes.  Quarter, three quarter cross stitch and backstitch RIGHT Quarter, three quarter cross stitch and backstitch LEFT
